Mother of four wins Vodafone family selfie contest for Week One

A mother of four, Talei Basoga of Makoi in Nasinu is one of the three winners of the Vodafone World’s largest family selfie contest which is running on FM 96, Viti FM and Radio Navtarang.

Basoga says the concept of this contest inspired her which is “together forever”.

She says her four children are part of the selfie which was taken during their lunch. Basoga says she found out about the selfie contest through Viti FM’s Facebook page.

She has received $250 worth of shopping voucher. Basoga says she will use this for Christmas shopping.

Clara Kumar from Ba also walked away with $250 worth of shopping voucher.

She says her selfie was taken during Christmas in New Zealand last year. Kumar says her daughter contacted her from New Zealand and asked her to post the family selfie for the contest.

The third winner is Kristeen Kumar and she also received $250 worth of shopping voucher.

Vodafone World’s largest family selfie contest will run for four weeks where weekly themed family selfies have to be uploaded daily on the comment section of FM 96, Viti FM and Radio Navtarang Facebook pages.

The main prize is $5,000, second prize is $1,000, third prize is $1,000 and three other people will walk away with $500 each.

Over 3,000 entries have been received in just the first week of the contest.
