Mother and son win Radio Navtarang/Sargam X-Mas cake competition

Adarsh Chand and his mother Shakuntla Chand have won the Radio Navtarang/ Sargam X-Mas cake competition respectively with Ashabhai Golden Harvest Cake Mix.

Adarsh Chand of Valelevu won $250 with Radio Navtarang and a gift hamper from Ashabhai by making an apple spiced snow globe fruit cake.

The 26-year-old says he will utilise the money for his school fees as he is in university.

Meanwhile, Anjalin Sharma who came second won $150 cash and a gift hamper while 3rd prize winner Ashneeta Devi won $100 cash and a gift hamper.

Shakuntla Chand who won the first prize for Radio Sargam also received $250 cash and a gift hamper. The 63-year-old says she will utilise the money to buy Christmas gifts for kids and for her personal use.

Meanwhile, 2nd prize winner Sushil Mati won $150 cash and a gift hamper while 3rd prize winner Raujia Begum won $100 and a gift hamper from Ashabhai.
