Most of the land deposited into the Land Bank is from the Western Division.
This is according to permanent secretary for Lands Tevita Boseiwaqa who said in Ba alone, the Land Use Unit has designated about seven parcels of land.
He said land owning units deposit their land voluntarily.
According to Boseiwaqa, 14 state lands and 39 i-Taukei lands have so far been registered under the Land Use Bank.
40 more land owning units have registered their interest to deposit their land and the ministry is currently working towards designating these parcels of land.
