Most businesses in Lautoka City have implemented COVID-19 protocols like physical distancing and wearing of masks.
Staff of Lautoka City Council with the help of police today monitored businesses.
The Council says people should exercise extreme precaution whilst in public.
It says people need to wear face masks and sanitize their hands regularly while shopping or travelling in public transport.
