$75,932.60 has been donated by Pacific Energy to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

The cheque was presented to Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama today by Pacific Energy Chief Executive Officer Randall Vallette.

Bainimarama has thanked the company for the tremendous financial support which will assist Fiji with rebuilding the lives of those affected by Tropical Cyclone Harold and also COVID-19 response efforts.

Vallette says the company aims to continue with its nationwide campaign to raise more funds for the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

As part of the campaign, for every litre of fuel purchased by any customer, two cents is directed towards the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

He says they aim to continue with this campaign in the next two or three months.

Vallette says their target is achieving about $250,000.
