More than 500 Year 13 students are expected to take advantage of the University of Fiji Open Day next week.

The Samabula Campus will host the Open Day on 19th September while the Saweni Campus will be hosting the Open Day on 22nd September.

UniFiji’s Student Recruitment Coordinator Leone Zion says it is an exciting time for the University as one of the biggest events in the University’s Calendar is back.

Zion says they could not host the Open Day in the past 3 years due to the COVID-19 restrictions in place.

The Student Recruitment Officer also says this year's Open Day was the first since the University of Fiji had acquired its global accreditation as part of the Quality Assurance Agency standards and guidelines for higher institutions this year.

This means that the University is one of the top universities in the world with its international accreditation badge which is now included as part of the University's logo.

Students will have the chance to hear first-hand information from qualified academics about the high quality and affordable education being provided at UniFiji and to take part in exciting other activities such as performances, music, garden tours, tree planting and other events apart from learning about the University and all its top level programmes.
