More than 300 people are expected to be employed at the new Damodar City Complex in Labasa after its completion in mid-2019.
Damodar Group of Companies Chief Executive Div Damodar says the land site is ready and the contractor will be finalised by end of this month.
Damodar says the construction work for the complex will start in October.
He says Damodar City in Labasa will be the economic hub for Vanua Levu.
The complex will have three cinemas, two supermarkets, two large department stores, a food court, at least 20 retail shops, offices, a museum, a warehouse, a family fun centre, a car and machinery show room and a car park for 500 vehicles.
