There are more than 274 children throughout Fiji who need some form of assistance to return to school to complete their primary and secondary school education.
This was revealed by Save the Children Fiji who say children dropping out of school remains a concern.
As part of a joint initiative, Save the Children Fiji CEO, Shairana Ali handed over school bags and stationary items to nine children residing in Ra province.
Save the Children Fiji says similar support will be provided to children in other provinces in the coming days.
The Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts has partnered with Save the Children Fiji to support these children and help them to return to school.
