More than 200 people screened by US medical team in Labasa

More than 200 people screened by US medical team in Labasa

Over 200 people have been screened by the U.S Medical team at the Labasa hospital from this morning.

People are being screened for General surgery, Orthopedic, Urology, Skin disease and Anti-Plastic procedures.

The team will be at the Labasa Hospital till next hour, to conduct medical screening.

About 75 personnel from the U.S Medical team are also in Seaqaqa for the Health Promotion Fair.

Those who need to undergo surgery will be operated on board the US Naval Hospital Ship Mercy.

More than 1,000 US Navy personnel are on board and they will provide various medical and surgical services in Labasa and Savusavu.

They will leave next week Friday.
