More than 1,000 new voters registered with the Fijian Elections Office in the last 6 days.
They also experienced a total of 5,791 engagements from voters and members of the public.
While speaking at the Voter Services Centre in Lautoka, Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says of these 5,791 engagements, 1,000 were for new registration and the rest were corrections and updating of cards.
Saneem says Centres in Lautoka Tappoo City Mall, Namaka Market, Damodar City in Suva and Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi will be open tomorrow.

The Supervisor of Elections stresses the Green Voter Card has expired and they are urging Fijians to come to the nearest Voter Services Centre and update their card to the Blue Voter Card.
Saneem says over 5,000 voters have taken advantage of this opportunity.
He says people must bring their birth certificates if they want to update their voter card.
Saneem adds they are also facilitating the change of name on the birth certificate at their various Service centres.
He says business house visits will begin from the 21st of this month and many business houses have made appointments on the system.
Saneem adds the interest is mostly from business houses in the Western Division and he is urging major business houses to make the appointment with the Elections Office so that they can provide these essential services.
