Three men were arrested and charged in Nadi earlier this week for unlawful possession of illicit drugs, while more arrests were made in the last 48 hours in the Central, Eastern and Western Divisions.

Police says three men were arrested in separate raids one aged 32 and two aged 58 years in Nadi on the 2nd of May when they were found with white substances believed to be methamphetamine and dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

The Totogo Police arrested two men aged 21 years in Toorak after allegedly being found with white substances believed to be methamphetamine and dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

In the Eastern Division, Korovou Police arrested a 43-year-old man from Uluirua Settlement after being found with several sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

Police says arrests continue throughout the Division as the Fiji Police Force is mindful of the emergence of new drugs.
