More housing opportunities for Raiwai/Raiwaqa area

There are more opportunities for proper housing for low income earners available in Raiwai and Raiwaqa.
Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said this is part of a project carried out with the Public Rental Board and the Housing Authority, something the Government is committed to.
The government will be spending about $20 million on this new development which will include 13 blocks which will house 208 newly built units that will comprise of 116 one bedroom units and 92 two bedroom units on double storey, three storey and four storey buildings.
Also included in this development is a multipurpose court, community hall and will have the first ever covered walkways under PRB’s rental portfolio.
The China based China Railway Group will be responsible for the construction.
