Film Fiji is expecting more films to be shot in the country this year because of the number of overseas film productions that are already underway in Fiji.
57 films were shot in Fiji last year and eight were major film productions which were valued at around $135 million.
Film Fiji says the expertise offered by these overseas film productions are greatly benefiting Fijians who are growing in our local film industry.
The first half of this year has seen over $175 million worth of film productions in Fiji which is a 29.6% increase from last year’s total production value.
