People of Mokani Village in Bau, Tailevu did a clean up around their community today as part of their contribution towards the National Climate Change Campaign.
Kids and Youths of Mokani Village withstood the heat and worked hand in hand in maintaining a clean and healthier Village.
Mokani Village Nurse, Verenaisi Silimaca Raradoka who was part of the clean-up campaign says the villagers want to take a pro-active measure before they face the reality of climate change in Mokani.
Mokani Youth Representative, Josefa Matasau has encouraged youths to implement this initiative in their communities and think about future generations and the impact of climate change in their lives.
