Yamacia’s, Sevuloni Mocenacagi has been suspended for twelve games after he was red-carded twice in the first leg of the Fiji Rugby Super 7’s Series at Lawaqa Park.
Mocenacagi was first shown the red card in a pool match for a dangerous tackle and was suspended for two matches.
He was again shown the red card in the elimination round for throwing the ball at the referee.
Fiji Rugby Union’s Operations Manager, Sale Sorovaki says the referees are going in the tournaments with a zero-tolerance attitude on foul play.
The second leg of the Fiji Rugby Super 7’s Series will be held in Nadi on the 19th and 20th of February.
The pools have also been drawn with champions Police Blue in Pool A with Uluinakau, Fire and BLK Stallions.
Raiwasa Taveuni, Tabadamu, Wadigi Salvo and Eastern Saints are in Pool B and Life After Rugby Barbarian Brothers, Police White, Wardens and a 16th team which is not confirmed are in Pool C.
Pool D has Ratu Filise, Army, Dominion Brothers and Nawaka.
