The Fiji Red Cross Society has received a donation of $29,511.80 from Mobil Oil (Fiji).

The funds received will be used to purchase a TFL Easy Tel and IP phones for the upgrade of HF Radio and telephone communication equipment in the 16 branches of the Fiji Red Cross.

Sales and Lead Country Manager for Mobil Oil (Fiji) Patrick Bulaon says they recognize that the need does not only come with natural disasters but there is a lot of work that goes on throughout the year that Fiji Red Cross Society does especially in planning for an emergency.

Fiji Red Cross Director General Filipe Nainoca says he is grateful for Mobil Oil Fiji’s contribution and continuous support.
