As the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua got back into the winning circle over the weekend following their 28-14 win over the Waratahs, it will be a tough task for them to maintain that consistency throughout the remaining 5 matches that they have for the round-robin competition this season.
With Moana Pasifika up next this weekend, veteran Fijian Drua prop Mesake Doge says their opponent is on a roll so far despite their loss to the Brumbies on Saturday, but he believes that the Drua has what it takes to claw their way back into the top 6.
Doge says Moana Pasifika is ahead of them in the points table but they are working towards getting better every week, even though their win against the Waratahs in Lautoka was a bit scrappy.
Doge says he knows that with these players, as soon as they win, they will keep going and strive for more, and he trusts these players will be there when they are needed.
He says they were gunning for a win over the weekend, and they managed to get it, but now it's on them to back it up again this weekend.
Despite the win, the Drua still remain at the bottom of the table with 11 points and their hopes of making it into the top 6 are still well alive.
The Drua will take on Moana Pasifika at 4.35pm on Saturday at North Harbour Stadium.
