Moala settlement urges action on sewage leak

Residents of Moala Settlement in Nadera are concerned over the leak and unpleasant odour caused by a burst sewage line along the riverbank near them.

Settlement representative, Kini Rokosemudu says the sewage leak has created unsanitary conditions.

Rokosemudu says this poses serious health risks and environmental hazards for the community and emphasised the need for urgent action to fix the sewage issue, so the community can continue enjoying the benefits of a cleaner environment without the new problems it has brought.
