Miss Saqani and Mr Drive Smart crowned 2019 Digicel Northern Duavata Crime Prevention Carnival Queen and King

Miss Saqani, Josephine St John and Mr Drive Smart, Meli Rauluitoga

Miss Saqani, Josephine St John has been crowned the 2019 Digicel Northern Duavata Crime Prevention Carnival Queen.

18 year-old, St. John says the win is dedicated to her family.

She says the Northern Division is known as the Friendly North and if they work together they can eradicate crime from their communities.

She attends Labasa College.

During the carnival a little over $92,000 was raised.

Mr Drive Smart, Meli Rauluitoga was crowned the King.
