Miss Mai Life Magazine Drue Slatter is the newly crowned Miss Vodafone Hibiscus 2012.
19-year-old Slater could not contain her emotions last night during her speech as the newly crowned Miss Hibiscus.
For her the feeling is yet to sink in and she hopes many will find inspiration from the story of the Korotogo girl who won the Hibiscus crown.
Meanwhile, her proud mother Tessa Campbell said she knows she will lose her daughter to a busy schedule but they respect how she needs to honor her win.
Slatter will represent Fiji in the South Pacific Pageant in December according to committee oraganiser Liga Gukisuva
Last night Miss Fiji Broadcasting Genevive Sukhdeo was named first runner-up whilst Miss Vinod Patel Natasha Prakash was named second runner up.
Meanwhile, Miss Carpenters Fiji Limited Aqela Katonivere was crowned Miss Vodafone Hibiscus 2012 Charity Queen.
