Those were the words of Miss Kiribati Taumiri Tetuai who said this is the perfect time at the 2009 Miss South Pacific Pageant where all the different Pacific countries have converged in one place to raise the issue of global warming and it is impending threat.
Miss Kiribati said if we remain silent then the bigger nations will not fully understand the danger global warming is causing.
