22-year-old Rowena Acraman is vying for the 2024 Miss Hibiscus crown.
The Suva City Council says Acraman will represent Apco Coatings.
Acraman aspires to work for a non-governmental organizations that champion human rights and address the pressing issue of climate change.

Acraman's educational journey began at St. Anne's Primary School and continued at Jai Narayan College and she is now pursuing her studies at the University of the South Pacific.
She is a former journalist and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Japanese, and also has an impressive linguistic ability reflected by her deep love for learning and cultural exchange.
Beyond her academic achievements, she is an avid artist, singer, and musician, proficient in playing the guitar and ukulele and her hobbies reflect a deep appreciation for creativity and expression, complemented by her self-taught proficiency in Japanese.
The Hibiscus Festival will be held from the 31st of this month to the 7th of September at the Suva Civic Foreshore and Suva Civic Centre.
