Minor earthquake occurs at 2 km North West from Colo-i-Suva Village

It does not pose any immediate tsunami threat to the region

A minor earthquake with a shallow depth source location occurred at 2 km North West from Colo-i-Suva Village at 10.17 this morning.

The Mineral Resources Department’s Seismology Unit says the quake was felt along the Suva - Nausori corridor.

However this does not pose any immediate tsunami threat to the region.
