More than 40 students from 20 schools dominated the runway at the Fiji Fashion Week 10th anniversary Student Designers Show.
While speaking at the Student Designers Seminar, Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Mereseini Vuniwaqa highlighted that this event has been an inspiration towards the growth of fashion related businesses.
She adds that it also creates more jobs in the various aspects of fashion, giving people socio-economic empowerment.
Vuniwaqa also applauded Fiji Fashion Week for taking a proactive measure in helping young people make a decision about their career in fashion.
Tonight, Fiji Fashion Week will be presenting the final show of Fiji Fashion Week’s 10th Anniversary the Gold Couture show tonight at 7pm at the Vodafone Arena.
