“Conquering of light over darkness and good over evil is Diwali.”
These are the words of the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Mereseini Vuniwaqa during the Diwali celebration at the department yesterday.
Vuniwaqa said the department regulates and manages the extraction of mineral resources which is very expensive but very valuable just as the Diwali celebration in Fiji.
Vuniwaqa also said people of Fiji should unite and come together hand in hand and celebrate this festival as we are all Fijians.
