Vodafone Fiji Bati star Taane Milne is reeling his excitement of playing for the Bati in Fiji for the second time and says there is always something on the line when you pull on the Fiji Bati jersey.
Milne has previously represented Fiji on home soil against the Australian PM’s XIII in 2017 and says the fans were passionate.
He says this is something extra to get the fire in the belly and he can’t wait to play that first game in front of their home crowd.
Milne says it means a lot to play the games in front of the home crowd and knows how passionate the fans are, and to put a smile on their face by playing at home is something he can’t wait to do.
He says every time he steps foot in the Fiji camp, he feels like it is the pinnacle of him in his career.
He adds he is really passionate about it and he is excited for the upcoming Pacific Rugby League Bowl Championship.
The Fiji Bati will take on the PNG Kumuls in round 1 next Saturday at 8.10pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
