Former Tonga and Australia rugby league star Michael Jennings has been named in the Vodafone Fiji Bati squad as they prepare for the 2024 Pacific Championship, which kicks off next week.
Vodafone Fiji Bati Head Coach Waisake Kativerata says this tournament provides a platform to showcase Fijian talent and strength in rugby league, featuring a mix of experienced players and emerging stars, where fans can expect dynamic performances and intense matches.
The team includes Sunia Turuva, Semi Valemei, Maika Sivo, Taane Milne, Jethro Rinakama, Michael Jennings, Kevin Naiqama, Waqa Blake, Kurt Donoghoe, Caleb Navale, Kitione Kautoga, Viliame Kikau, Tui Kamikamica, Jordan Miller, Nathan Kegg-Smith, Kylan Mafoa, Ben Nakubuwai, Peni Tagituimua, Joe Lovodua, James Valevatu, and Bayleigh Bentley-Hape.
The Fiji Bati will face the PNG Kumuls next Saturday at 8.10pm at HFC Stadium.
