More than half a million dollars has been raised by the Methodist Church of Fiji from their Solevu or Festival of Praise and Gift giving and Annual Conference.

This has been confirmed by the President of the Methodist Church Reverend Dr Epineri Vakadewavosa.

Vakadewavosa says that the money raised will be used for the operation of the church.

The President has also highlighted to Fijivillage that the Church opening account balance as in June this year was $1.2 million.

He adds that in 2017 the Church had recorded their lowest debt which was less than $300,000.

Vakadewavosa also says that the church is targeting to be debt free by 2020.

Therefore, Vakadewavosa is encouraging members of the church to be faithful and responsible with their assets.
