There will be no choir competition during the Annual Conference of the Methodist Church next month.
Secretary of Communication Reverend James Bhagwan said it will be a Festival of Praise and will be held on the week prior to the conference.
Bhagwan said it will be a time of fellowship and praising as the church wants to shift its focus from the choir competition.
He said the Festival of Praise and Solevu will be held at Furnival Park, Toorak.
The Annual Conference will be held at the Centenary Church from the 24th to the 28th of August.
