Merchant Finance Limited launched a new payment platform with Vodafone M-Paisa where its customers will be able to make loan instalments and transfer money from their account to Merchant Finance using their phone.
Deputy Chairperson of Merchant Finance Limited, Nouzab Fareed says the new payment platform will help their customers to pay their loans on time without facing any inconvenience of visiting the banks and post offices.
Fareed says all the costs that will be incurred during the process will be absorbed by Merchant Finance and their customers will not have to pay anything.
Vodafone Head of eCommerce and Corporate Affairs, Shailendra Prasad says the new Merchant Finance payment platform has incurred a cost of over $10,000.
Prasad says the new payment platform is more cost effective, paperless and more productive because people won’t have to come to banks to make payments.
