The challenge for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players this week is the maturity in their professionalism to have the same mindset after a good victory.
This was highlighted by coach Mick Byrne as they prepare for this week’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific round 14 clash against the Highlanders in Dunedin.
Byrne says it is important when the players come in to training the following week and get themselves focused and driven again.
He says they spoke about it on the Monday leading up to the game against the Reds last week after a disappointing game in Perth against the Western Force.
He adds their training at the start of this week was a better one and it was a bit of an indication because it was a bit of a low-key training session.
The Drua will be hosted by the Highlanders at 2.05pm this Sunday at Forsyth Barr Stadium.
In other matches this week, the Chiefs play the Hurricanes at 7.05pm tomorrow, the Brumbies host the Rebels at 9.35pm tomorrow, Moana Pasifika takes on the Waratahs at 4.35pm Saturday, the Crusaders play the Blues at 7.05pm Saturday, and the Reds meet the Force at 9.35pm Saturday.
