Matanitobua dedicates gold medal win to mum

Seveci Matanitobua of Natabua High School wins the gold medal

Form 3 student of Natabua High School Seveci Matanitobua won gold in the Junior Boys 1,500 meters event this morning.

He dedicated the gold medal win to his mother who travelled all the way from Lautoka to watch him run at the ANZ Stadium today.

Shaneel Narayan of Xavier College took silver in the Junior Boys 1,500 metres event while Jacoro Ledua of Dreketi High settled for bronze.
