Masks and gloves compulsory if you want to enter the Suva Market

SCC and Police to control foot traffic in Suva

Masks and gloves will now be made compulsory for those entering the Suva Market and there will also controlled foot traffic and movement of people coming in and out of Suva.

This is part of the action plan that the Suva City Council will be implementing with the assistance of the Fiji Police Force.

Following a meeting between SCC and Police, it has been established that they will put in place proper entry and exit points around high traffic areas like the Suva Market and Bus Stand.

They will monitor the social distancing of two metres especially for market vendors.

SCC says they will hold briefings on a daily basis with Police.
