Swire Shipping Fijian Drua centre Iosefo Masi has been voted the fijivillage Drua Fan Player of the Match in last week’s 46-29 loss to the Chiefs in round 4 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition.
Masi received a total of 152 votes (55.1 percent) followed by young flyhalf Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula with 81 (29.3 percent) votes and captain Ratu Meli Derenalagi with 43 votes (15.6 percent).
Masi scored two tries in the first half against the Chiefs and gained a total of 68 metres in 10 carries, beating 4 defenders and making 2 line breaks.
In defence, Masi made a total of 8 tackles, completing 4 of them and 1 dominant tackle.
Meanwhile, the Drua is currently sitting in 10th place in the overall Men’s Super Rugby Pacific points table with 5 points.
The Hurricanes maintain their lead at the top of the table with 17 points followed by the Reds with 15 points and the Chiefs are 3rd with 14 points.
It will be a doubleheader in Lautoka this Saturday as the Drua Men will be playing the Waratahs and the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women will be playing the Waratahs Women in their first home game of the season.
The Drua Men will play the Waratahs at 1.05pm and the Drua Women will play the Waratahs Women at 3.35pm.
