Swire Shipping Fijian Drua centre Iosefo Masi has been voted the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific Player of the Week after last week’s breathtaking performance in their 39-36 win over the Waratahs at home.
Masi scored a hattrick in the first half of the match to help the side hold a comfortable 26-10 lead at halftime.
The 25-year-old has scored 5 tries so far this year and is fourth in the top try scorers list for this season behind Brumbies’ Corey Toole (6), Reds’ Matt Faessler (6) and Blues’ Hoskins Sotutu (5).
Masi now has 45 Super Rugby Pacific points under his name with 13 appearances for the Drua in the competition.

This season, Masi has a total of 6 clean breaks, beaten 24 defenders and gained 355 metres in his stats so far.
Masi and the Drua will host the Western Force in their second double-header this Saturday with the Men’s team playing at 1.05pm and the Women’s game at 3.35pm at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
In other matches, the Crusaders host the Chiefs at 6.05pm Friday, the Waratahs play the Rebels at 8.35pm Friday, Moana Pasifika faces the Blues at 3.35pm Saturday, the Highlanders play the Hurricanes at 6.05pm Saturday, the Reds meet the Brumbies at 8.35pm Saturday.
