Marriott hotels and resorts in Fiji held the Run/Bike to Give charity event today and raised over $1,500 which will directly support their employees who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event was held at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club.

Over 70 participants including volunteers took part in the event.

The Cluster Director of Human Resources, Farrah Shazleen says as part of Marriott’s people-first culture, they are committed towards creating a sustainable impact in the communities where they do business and serve.

Shazleen says with this event, Marriott also encourages its employees to care about the communities in which they operate.
