Maritime Zone Schools gear up for zone meet next Monday

Athletes from Rotuma High School, Yasawa High School, Koro High School, Ratu Finau Secondary School and Adi Maopa Secondary School are gearing up for Maritime Zone that will be held next week with the hope of advancing to the Coca-Cola games.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association Acting Secretary Biu Colati says over 50 athletes are expected to participate in this one-day event and they are still waiting for Gau Secondary School to confirm their participation.

He says some of these maritime schools arrived earlier this week and are looking forward to the competition that will be held next Monday.

The Coca-Cola Games will be held from next Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
