Marist Brothers High School are holding their first Careers Expo post COVID-19 at the school’s Brother Lambert Hall as they try to give their students an opportunity to discover their future and also help them make the right choice on which path to take after high school.
Different ministries and organisations are present at the school today to display the services they provide.
In an interview with fijivillage News, Marist Vice Principal Tupou Gavidi says they organise the Careers Expo because they feel it benefits the students in terms of helping them choose their career as most of them are still not sure what to do after high school.
She says there has been an increase in exhibitors that are part of the expo this year.
Some of the exhibitors include Fiji Revenue and Customs Service, Fiji Competition and Consumer Commission, Advance Aviation Pilot Training Fiji, University of the South Pacific, Fiji National University, University of Fiji, Fiji Police Force, Mauri Professional Caregiving Institute, ANZ, Land Transport Authority, the Judiciary of Fiji and the Ministry of Education.
