Marist 7s to start with Under 21 and women’s competition on Thursday

The 45th Fiji Bitter Sapphire Marist 7s will kick-off this Thursday with the under 21 and women's competition.

Eighteen teams will compete for the $3,000 prize money in the under 21 competition and eight teams will compete for the $3,500 prize money in the women's competition.

Dominion Brothers is the defending Under 21 champion and they will face Black Heron in the opening match at 8am Thursday.

The Annandale Striders are women’s defending champion and their first match is against Police Blue Diamond Eagles Women at 10.28am Thursday.

The men's competition will kick-off with the defending champions Tabadamu facing Lami Cavaliers at 8am Friday at the ANZ Stadium.

48 men's team will compete for the $10,000 prize money.
