All games in the Under 21 and women's competition have been temporarily halted at the 45th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s at the ANZ Stadium due to continuous heavy rain.

Following an inspection, organizers said they were concerned about the safety of the players.

The Black Heron and Infinity Selection Under 21 teams were about to play this afternoon when they were told by tournament coordinator Koli Korovulavula that the ground conditions were not safe.

Organizers will make a further assessment soon and the games yet to be played could be rescheduled to tomorrow.
