Police raided two vehicles at the carrier stand in Suva and seized several parcels of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
Police say investigations continue and the suspects have been taken into custody.
They further say Savusavu Police also conducted raids at the Viani Farm in Savusavu, where more than 200 plants believed to be marijuana were seized while the divisional task forces seized more than 1,000 plants believed to be marijuana from the Navosa highlands as well.
The owners of both farms are yet to be identified.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu says the festive season operations have gained momentum in disrupting illicit networks.
ACP Driu says the seizures augured well with efforts to reduce supply as some were being prepared for distribution.
The Assistant Commissioner of Operations says they will not relent on its current momentum of disrupting and destabilizing networks and warns that attempts to derail policing efforts will be in vain.
