A 47-year-old carpenter of Manoca Squatter Settlement, Nausori who allegdly murdered his father has been charged and will be produced in the Nausori Magistrates Court today.
Police had earlier said the man allegedly committed the offence while under the influence of alcohol, and he later took his father to the Nausori Health Centre, where medical officials noted visible injuries on the victim.
The matter was reported to Police by Health officials.
