Man rushed to hospital after bus slams into electric post

The Nasese Bus that slammed into an electric post near Tropic Towers along Robertson rd.

A man has been taken to hospital after a bus slammed into an electric post near Tropic Towers along Robertson Road at about 9 o’clock this morning.

The front part of the bus received extensive damage.

A police officer at the scene says the bus was allegedly speeding down Robertson Road and it failed to negotiate the bend.

He says the bus checker received injuries and was immediately taken to the CWM hospital.

Police are still at the scene.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes as part of Robertson Road has been closed.
