A man has passed away from injuries allegedly sustained during a motor vehicle accident this morning.
Police say the man was driving a vehicle with four passengers when it veered off the road near Drekeinakelo in Kasavu at around 4.30 am.

Two passengers have been transferred to the CWM Hospital in serious condition while one is admitted under observation at the Nausori Hospital.
The fourth passenger has been discharged.
Investigations continue.
The road death toll currently stands at 39 compared to 58 for the same period last year.
