Police are investigating the death of a 33-year-old man after he was allegedly assaulted in Suva on Sunday morning.
They say the alleged incident was reported by medical authorities after the victim was brought to the CWM Hospital.
Police say the man was rushed to the hospital after 1am and was admitted in critical condition until he passed away on Sunday afternoon.
Police add a post-mortem will be conducted to ascertain the victim’s cause of death as investigations continue.
