24-year-old Etuate Koroisau, who allegedly assaulted and robbed a Nadera businessman last week, has been remanded by the Nasinu Magistrates Court.
Koroisau appeared before Magistrate Sufia Hamza and has been charged with one count of aggravated robbery.
The prosecution requested the matter to be transferred to the Suva High Court.
Koroisau will appear in Suva High Court on the 5th of April.
Divisional Police Commander South Senior Superintendent of Police Wate Vocevoce had earlier stated that the suspect had allegedly stabbed and robbed a businessman along Visako Circle while he was walking towards his vehicle.
The suspect stole the victim's laptop bag containing valuable items as well.
