A man in his 20s residing in Cunningham has been charged for allegedly breaking into a church and the pastor’s residence and stealing assorted items.
Police say it is alleged that on the 28th of March the man broke into the church located in Nakasi and the pastor’s residence and stole electronic items, power tools and personal belongings.
Investigators have managed to recover some of the stolen items.
The man has been charged with one count of sacrilege, two counts of theft and two counts of burglary.
He will be produced in the Nasinu Magistrates Court tomorrow.
