Man charged for allegedly raping 17 year old girl in the Northern Division

A 22-year-old farmer will be produced in the Labasa Magistrates Court today charged with allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl last week.

Police say the matter came to light after the victim informed her mother of the alleged incident.

The accused allegedly raped the victim at a settlement and the matter was reported at the Seaqaqa Police Station.
