The driver who allegedly caused the death of a 3-year-old boy on Sunday following an accident in Lautoka has been charged and will be produced in the Lautoka Magistrates Court today.
The man has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death.
Police say the boy was crossing the road with his mother when he was allegedly hit by a van driven by the 45-year-old man.
They say the driver allegedly failed to stop the car following the accident.
The man was pursued by another car up to the Lautoka Police Station where he surrendered himself to Police.
