The man who allegedly murdered his partner in 2009 and then absconded overseas has asked the Suva High Court if an order can be granted for him to be taken to the CWM hospital.
Imshad Izraal Ali is charged for allegedly strangling a 34-year-old kindergarten teacher to death inside their Howell Road home.
Ali told the court that he was taken to the Raiwaqa Health Centre and as they do not conduct blood tests, he requested if an order can be granted for him to be taken to the CWM hospital.
An order has been granted for Ali to be taken to the CWM hospital for treatment as he is diabetic.
He has been further remanded in custody and will appear in Suva High Court on the 10th of next month.
